Oh Jesus I am scramming. I am running out of imaginations, run out of words. I feel like a schmuck person after I finished writing one article. It seems like I have scattered brain. I am still nutty as a fruitcake over this Globe issue. I need commiseration from my bunch of allies. I need to call my alien friends to rescue me from this misery. I know prayers is the only miracle. I am having marathon of hurt feelings but I promised Joebert that I will post the article about him today. Cool. I need to keep my promise. I cannot even thing of an eye-catcher title except “YOU’RE THE MAN.” This might also be a smart keyword. Look straight into his eyes and you can see the braveness of his soul. Nobody has the guts to look straight into the eyes of a person. I wonder why? Maybe Joebert can give me the answer when we meet again and I'll write them down here.
I have known Joebert for three (3) years. We meet everywhere in the corridors of Qualfon and in that everywhere you feel the rush of a busy call center life. And everywhere you can feel the beats of their hearts about the management. In that everywhere and the rush hours, you can see Joebert surmounting the odds. He is standing tall despite of the much turbulence brought about by changes and outside factors.
Now, he is one who gains a powerful post in Workforce Department. Without WF, no aux can be approved. I find WF people with so much power in their grasp. They can provide you pins and whatever magic they can do. Don't argue with me. Anyways, outside the premises of Q, he is one down to earth person. Nah, he not down under the earth. My golly. What I mean he has sense of awareness. He knows how to make you feel comfortable and I have noticed that he is a good persuader too. Again nah - not by the wink of his eyes. It has something to do with people empowerment. The trick he is using to convince people to joint Frontrow. Sorry guys if I keep on talking about Frontrow. We have a mindset on this that after 2 years we will be free from what we call “call center imperialism” and become millionaires. You can call us lunatics. They once told Bill Gates, a son of a farmer and a college drop out that he was idiot, crazy, fool. Now Bill Gates is one of the riches man in the planet but just going out of the school doctrines
In one short chat at McDonald last Thursday, I let him described about his self. He is the best person to know his self. According to Joebert, he is loving but not much very expressive (What can you say Jenny?) Jenny by the way, is Joebert's girlfriend. He has a taste because Jenny is attractive looking gal. Well, this is really true with Joebert. In all essence he has a great compassion to other people. He doesn’t like to hurt as much as possible the feelings of others. He constantly keeps hurt emotions deep inside him. Hmmm I advise that sometimes he needs to purge it out. Shout to the world how you feel. Shout out in Facebook your sentiments. It helps. You better do this or you might end with a cardiac arrest. Most of all she truly loves her mom.
When he mentioned about her mom, I asked him about Jenny-the love of his life. According to Joebert, what makes life blissful and colorful is that a person loving you and embracing your limitations, failures and accepting you for what you have. Joebert admitted that Jenny has changed him a lot to become a better person. This is true because before without Jenny in his life, I could not see the rainbow in his eyes. His eyebrows always met together as if he was Atlas carrying the world on his shoulder as his punishment. Jenny also doesn’t drink liquors and doesn’t smoke. He has great respect for Jenny which is very important in a relationship.
Joebert starts with a humble beginning at Qualfon, like among others. He was a TSR for 6 months. Then he was endorsed to Sales Department and stayed there for a year. He was transferred to Straight Talk Department when it was launched in 2009. That was where I met Joebert and became good friends. From Straight Talk, we were joggled from here to there. We were like balls bouncing back and forth. When I was in QA that was where I realized that he was a CMS already. Then his big quantum leap was when he was endorsed to WF Department. The most challenging position he encountered was being a CMS. He lamented that he did not know about Excel but learn the lesson along the process. It is a small world after all; he is now my downline in Frontrow. It is like the music:
Row, row, row your boat,
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Gently down the stream.
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream.
Working in a call center is very stressful. There are numbers of deliverables, demands there, demands here, pressure is another thing- it drives you nuts that you need magic to happen at the snap of your fingers. To cope with stress, he has to smoke cigarettes. Smokin’ Joebert! When you see Joebert smoking cigarettes outside the premises of Qualfon, he is just relieving from stress.
I also asked him, “Joebert what is really your dream?” Joebert replied that he wants to buy a house and lot for his mom. The reason why he has goal setting is to achieve this with the right approach in Frontrow. As long as he is driven by his dream, he can reach the star no matter how impossible.
If you have a psychic power Joebert, "what is he first thing that you want to do? He said that he wants to grant the wishes of people who are in need. I was so touched of his answer because if he asked me what I want to do, I will turn some people lives miserable, i.e. those corrupt people in the government plundering people's money.
I followed up another question, "If you win the lottery supposing 70M, how are you going to spend the money? Joebert instead opt for Franchise business like fast foods because fast foods like Jollibee, McDonald, KFC can generate income fast. Almost everyday, people crave foods to eat.
My last question is, “how do you see yourself in 5 years?” Well, he said, still in Qualfon, still in Frontrow. I have my first kid. Own a house and lot with big garage and 2 cars.
Yes Joebert, I want to see you married to Jenny. Your love story will end like a fairy tale. If not fairy tale, both of you at least manage to survive the trials in marriage. Have kids. Has a house and lot with large garage. In that garage, I can see custom cars. How is this?
