JUST A LITTLE BIT OF ROUND-UP

Hello! Today is rainy Monday and rainy Monday gets us down. The majestic pouring of the rain has never stopped since 2:00 a.m. The plants should be happy. Their thirst is quenched. The farmers start plowing their fields for 1st, 2nd cropping or whatever. Good today is declared holiday. Students won’t get soak in the rain. And those working in a call center get 30% on top of their salary. Wowee!

I can hear thousands of droplets scourging the surroundings. I am sure some areas of Metropolitan Cebu are submerged under water. Or in other words, we call this flood. Some I know are already cursing the rain especially if they have important matters to attend. So I guess for me I will just enjoy the rain over a mug of coffee and do a little bit of round-up. Against the wind!

Joe Frazier
Are humans an endangered species? This just blows my mind not because humans are at the risk of extinction but rather human are being contaminated with serious cancer diseases that are non curable even though you spent your millions. Smokin’ Joe Frazier is reportedly diagnosed with liver cancer and battling for it. To fight cancer, we need miracle to happen. Not even science and modern medicine can do miracle if it is the end of our journey.
Kris and Kim
Hey I was stunned that Kim Kardashian divorced NBA star Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage. I thought this will end as a fairy tale story but it ended up as one hyped marriage and too much publicity. Is Kim just after Kris for money? Sanctity of marriage has no value at all but a junk piece of paper. If you want to read the thank you note of Rev. Susan Russell to Kim, click on the name of Rev. Russell. The letter is about sanctity of marriage and its values. When it is easy to change partners, is there really a sanctity of marriage?

Procrastination is just synonymous to timidity. If we can act it now, we should act it now. Why others are not acting immediately? Are they really timid?   Do we have to wait for tomorrow and act on it? Or timidity runs through our veins. I heard a handful of frustrations of some Supervisors.

-Inadequate staff
-Excessive tax withholding
-No overtime pay
-Bureaucratic Bungling
-Fish Files
-Lack of motivation

These complaints are music to the ears already. Almost every day we can hear these kinds of complaints. It is like a carousel that keeps on rotating for every ride. My ears are deaf already. My simplest solution to these hullabaloos is to ACT NOW and to motivate myself. At the end of the day, if I fail, I am the loser. I cannot blame anybody for my failures. If I succeed, then I reach self-satisfaction and accomplishment.
