If Ken Kitazawa used chemicals to create a Power Puff Girls, Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup, I have also my power puff team. I did not create them out of chemicals. They are God-given. Accidentally, they just sprung from my head last August 23, 2010 when I was endorsed to Operations. When I met them, I immediately embraced them as my kids. They have been with me for a year, some chose a different pathway. Some were not lucky to pass the test of perseverance but they are still a part of my team. Some just joined my team - adding spices to the team. Whoever joins the team, I embrace them. We work with teamwork. Like a flock of geese, we can surpass the challenges by leaps and bounds.

My supervision to them is more likely of a “mom.”  I always believe that leadership is more of people empowerment, giving out your best but knowing your own limitations too.  Sometimes when necessary I castigate my agents but that is one way too of molding them because they are compose mostly of young generations, who think life and job are just for fun. Teaching them to love their job is a hard task and encouraging them to have a goal setting is a great responsibility on my shoulder. It is hard in the sense that they have their own thinking. I am not a command invader. It is hard to penetrate their minds. They need to undergo a comprehensive values training but since it does not happen I continuously molding them.  Perhaps some other supervisors are experiencing the same. Maybe some of them will not listen but I know when they grow old, they will acquire more wisdom and they will say, “I am right.” Experiences are the best teacher. Leadership is more than action, setting up good examples to them is a good head-start.  You know, we can be a better preacher not by our words but by our action.

Rapport is a process of building a sustaining relationship of mutual trust, harmony and understanding. It is essentially meeting individuals in their model of the world. This happens through matching the accessing cues from words, eye movements and body language. Rapport is the ability to be on the same wavelength and to connect mentally and emotionally. It is the ability to join people where they are in order to build a climate of trust and respect. Having rapport does not mean that you have to agree, but that you understand where the other person or people are coming from.

For a year, our relationship is more solid. I am still a matriarch to them.  My team has produces bouncing healthy babies. I become an instant grandma. That is fine with me for I cannot preempt when I will become a proud grandmother to my children’s kids. They are so assiduous to their career. 

I am now going to start the ball rolling. I am going to say something about my agent according to my observation and my acquaintances with team. Hmm fasten your seat belts.

Corazon

Corazon means heart that is why she is sweet but goodness sometimes she is pesky that pull my eyebrows together. She is bright but lacks confidence sometimes. She is spoiled brat being the favorite of her lola and her lola always comes to her rescue. She gave birth to a baby girl couple of months ago, who happens to be my godchild too. Always I can say, be in good terms with your hubby which is essential in a partnership.Be matured enough to face the challenges of life. I can feel that your are a survivor. Use your talents and explore what greater opportunities life can give you.

Mylen

Mylen is in love… jejejeje that is why she is blooming. I can see the twinkle in her eyes. You see what love can do. She is slim, simple but attractive looking. She seldom comes to me to ask for  help when taking calls. She is calm though furious inside. Stay simple as you are. Continue the good work. I want to see you part of the staff one day. Stay always simple and your feet set firm on the ground. It is your life that you'll be dealing with not their lives.

Ezra Janine

Ezra in the Bible is a Hebrew Name symbolizing as a great ruler. Ezra is a masculine name. I have Ezra too in my team but not masculine but feminine. One thing, that I should be prepared about this gal, be ready with answers. When Ezra is asking assistance from me, there is always a  follow-up question and this would go around in circus to the point sometimes it irks me. I know that she is too eager to resolve the customer’s issue but you know, we cannot make it happen like magic. She should have taken a law course because she is good in digging questions. I find her daring and confident. As a custom graduate, I hope she pass the Customs Board Exam the second time around.

Bryan

Bryan is a fast learner. He can easily digest any given information or updates being discussed to him. He was awarded a certificate as best agent during their training. Sometimes, I am using Bryan as my side kick because I trust him. Sometimes too I scolded him but he would magnanimously admit his waterloo. He needs a little spanking to make him going. Like any other agents of my Team, I want to see him climb the corporate ladder. Be part of the staff and give his contributions to the company even in his small way. If not this time then he needs to rebound high like Michael Jordan and shoot the ball inside the ring. I noticed too that he would second the motion my statements. Good guy!

Glynn Mark

What can I say about Glynn Mark? I am running out of words. I want to say about something ( I zipper my mouth) but I don’t want to offend him. Anyways, Glynn Mark is consistent with his scorecard that others are unable to sustain. What seems to be his secret formula? I think it is just a matter of trick. I sometimes ask him to share this to his peers in the Team. Before, I scolded him that when he conversed with the customer, he was just beating around the bush. When I monitored him lately, he has improved and goes straight to the point. Yet sometimes, he kept on telling the customer, “go ahead” even though the customer won’t butt-in. This is the point that I want him to improve. His co-agents often teased him but I don’t know if he gets hurt. Never mind them, as long as you are happy of what you are.

Penelope

Penelope has a super mestiza complexion, somewhat from a Spanish descendant. She is one of my original who have hurdled the race. She is still under with me for over a year. I hope she never gets too tired of my scolding and spanking (lol). Pen as we fondly called her is all ears to listen to my discussion. She knows that I hate them talking when I am talking. That is always my rule. She is cool headed although I know that there are personal problems that cause her absences. I only hope that she has the ability to separate personal problems from her work because sometimes this affects her call handling and scorecard.  Double time Pen! I know you can do it.

Melanie

Hey have you seen Anne Curtis in real? Well you don’t need to sneak in Ayala just to take a glimpse of Anne Curtis. I have Anne Curtis in my team, no other than, Melanie. Don’t raise your eyebrows. Melanie is an avid fan of Anne Curtis that is why she would always tell us that she is Anne Curtis. She easily gets irritated and pisses off. I remember way back September 2010 she stamped her feet and wagged her tongue when I was not able to accommodate her a seat. I should have spanked her. Melanie has matured already. She learns to control her emotions. Of course, she should-she has 2 pretty girls to raise. I only wish she and Diego will patch-up whatever difference they have for the sake of the kids.

Rynell

Rynell is very much matured, there being a mother of four healthy kids (I am not aware if she has given birth to her fourth child). She is polite with the customers and also in the real essence of the world. I heard that she is good in the kitchen. No wonder her kids are so chubby and healthy. In our team outings, I have noticed that she is very uxorious to the needs of her children. When she is nervous with the irate customers, her hands are trembling. Rynell keep it cool.  I guess this is just a natural reaction. I wish her a joyous married life. 

Shere Mae

If there is one person who is steadfast about my bombardment and castigation, that is Sweet. I maybe a martinet to her but I want to bring the best from her. I understand few months ago, she was undergoing emotional turmoil that affects her attendance and her scorecard as well to the point that I let her made her action plan. Her action plan works and I am happy that she is back to her feet again. This girl is too trusting when it comes to friendship to the end she was betrayed. I hope that she learns from this experience-not to be too generous because there are thousands of people who are unscrupulous, who will just take advantage of the situation. Lift your spirit up to the Lord so he’ll make your yoke easy.

Noella

Noella left the team on September 28 to find a better horizon outside of the call center life. She said that her family is going to start a business. I have not heard whether the business venture is push through. I can see her enjoying life in her hometown through FB. Noella was soft spoken and humble. She has a soft spot that you can easily make her cry. Noella, you are miss a lot. Wherever you are I wish you success in whatever endeavor you want to venture.
